"RISE TO THE MOST SUCCESSFUL AND INFLUENTIAL MEMBER OF THE HANSE ULTIMALTELY LEADER OF THE TRADING LAGUE!"

What the developer have to say (Features):

1. Complex trade system with trade routes between 32 towns.

2. All towns are displayed in impressive and detailed 3D graphics.

3. Intelligent rivals, dynamic weather and seasons influence gameplay.

4. Be elected mayor of your home town in order to control construction projects like the city wall or special buildings.

5. Compose your own merchant fleet from historical ship models and research new types.

6. Arm your fleet with convoy ships and fight in impressive naval battles against pirates and rivals.

What I have to say???

There's not alot to say about this Patrician series except that I much like the previous version better than this new instalment. Although there's improvement to the graphics and few different quirk and features in the game but the developer also managed to take away what's fun with the series as a whole.

Don't get me wrong, the game still enjoyable but when you raised through the level/rank you will be doing the same thing over and over again. I know the objective is to gain gold/money so with every mind set of getting more gold is to expand but compare to the previous version where you rise through the rank when you accumulate enough gold this series who rise through the rank after the completed certain requirements. Requirements that with every ranks become more and more time consuming. This is because you'll need to build more buildings/boats/offices and even when you finely reach that rank where you can send expeditions out you'll be let down by the ships that is allowed or the ranks of your captain that you can't actually keep in your pay roll when you're repairing your boat thus losing him and his level of expertise.

Again, don't get me wrong. The game is enjoyable with the possibility of constructing your own town later in the game but the biggest cons comes from the occasional pillage/sieges from the 'prince' if any demand he makes isn't met will make you grind your teeth in frustration. Even if you're not building your own town the current or most of your trading towns will be siege and sometimes the sieges can happen with almost 2/3 of the towns in the map at the same time. This is problematic cause sieges cuts the production rate of that city.

Economic wise it is perfect because the engine/script is set to giving every town their own independence thus giving you the impression of the game evolve with or without your intervention and ultimately making the production/need of each city a truly unique feeling.
Big map with lots of town to trade.

Lastly, the game is enjoyable but it is nevertheless a frustrating and time consuming to reach higher ranks and a big let down when you are losing your favourite captain/s aswell as scrap down family structure(they[developer] said you can get married but I still am not married and don't know how) leaving you the fun and enjoyment of nothing but a build em up games(i.e Sim City).

"A GREAT MICROMANAGEMENT GAME THAT ISN'T HARD BUT ADDICTIVE TO A POINT"

 What I have to say???

The game is a classical remake from a 1988 beat em' up arcade game made by Namco but unlike its original version of sidescrolling beat em' up style this remake uses the current gen style of beat em' up which is abit open and more graphical(3D wise). But sticking with originality the developer still include a somewhat sidescrolling platform style which just brings back memories of playing the game in 2D.

The game follows Ricks our metalhead normal guy which on the verge of death made a pack with 'Terror Mask' or as it like to called himself 'GOD' by wearing it and thus turning him into a mean killing machine with variable corny jokes every now and again. And not forgetting that 'GOD' talks to you and 'encourage' on every kills you make. Sort like your personal trainer. Now with his new found power he have to fight through monsters and 'aliens' to save his beautiful soon to be fiancée Jen from the evil clutches of Dr. Henry West from making her a sacrifice to resurrect his deceased wife.

The graphics is not a full 3D like most of recent games that came out in the market but a mix of 2D and 3D somewhat like Spiderman : Shattered Dimensions but combine with intense metal songs from bands such as Matadon, Lamb of God and Municipal Waste to name a few give you and adrenalin rush to continue on playing the game even with its mediocre story and corny jokes (the full list of the bands are included within the official site of the game).
Feel the power Ricky!

Currently after 4 hours of playing from 6am to 10am on Saturday I am at Phase 4 of the story and as of now I couldn't find any serious bugs but other than fights can be annoying with a lack of a descend tutorial to help you at the beginning of the game but it is not a huge problem as to ruin your play time plus the controls of the game is somewhat easy enough with a purpose of utterly FUN. Although it is a remake but the very kind developer didn't forget to put some extra value of re-playability by putting a few collectibles and also a few raunchy pictures of your beautiful Jen are just not to be miss.

Some of Jen's picture that will make you wanting more

This classical game are once again a classical game in my drawer aswell as the game category and I would definitely like to see all Splatterhouse episodes to be remake again with more of Jen superbly fine bodily character. Aswell as the rest of the story in 3D ofcourse. Well, that's it for the review of Splatterhouse, I would like to apologise if I write a bad english because it is not my first language and I would like to apologise if I hurt anyone feelings.

"ONE OF THE BEST REMAKE CLASSIC GAME THAT'S A CLASSIC IN AN INSTANT"
